Healing Prayers For The Sick

Heavenly Father, you say that I should ask you for whatever I need. To those who ask, it will be given. To those who seek, it will be found. To those who knock, the door will be opened. I ask you for healing for my loved one right now Lord and pray that you would answer my request. You are a loving, good Father who gives good gifts to his children. You love to give good gifts to those who ask. As your humble child, I ask for the gift of healing today. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Holy Spirit, drive away from me all forms of sickness and disease.
restore strength to my body and joy to my spirit,
so that in my renewed health,
I may bless and serve you,
now and forevermore.

Lord of Heaven, I rest underneath your mighty wings of love. I dwell within your gentle heart. I know there is healing in your touch. Through the sufferings of Christ I can ask for restoration And trust in your goodness. You are my Lord, my Saviour, My healer and my friend. I dwell within your gentle embrace. Amen.

Father, Your love is as wide as the oceans As deep as the sea And as tall as the heavens. May your spirit rise like a mightly wave and come and restore those who are ill. You are the water of life, You are a fresh spring, You are healing rain To all those who are in need. Come Lord!

My son has a chronic autoimmune disorder, chronic ear and hearing issues, visual issues and chronic pain. He is only 25 and feels the years have passed him by while he sees other young people grow up and move on in life. He has grown angry and has lost hope. Once a believer he now questions God’s existence due to all he has suffered. I need my son to have a complete emotional, mental, spiritual and physical healing! I am asking God to show my son mercy and to come to his rescue. Please I beg you to join me in prayer.

Lord Jesus, thank you that our hope for healing is in you. If there are doctors or treatments that you would want to use to heal this disease I pray that you would guide [name of person who needs healing] to them. I ask for wisdom and discernment about which treatments to pursue.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” ~ Isaiah 53:4-5. May the word of the Lord be made manifest in your life. Amen!

Lord, your Word speaks promises of healing and restoration and I thank you for the miracles you still perform today. Today I claim those promises over my friend. I believe in the healing power of faith and prayer and I ask you to begin your mighty work in the life of my friend. Please reach down and surround my friend with supernatural peace and strength and give her the faith to believe that all things are possible for you. Protect her from Satan’s lies and discouragement and let her miraculous healing begin. Amen

Lord, you are so caring and gentle. I confess that the beautiful body which you gave me must be cut open today. I am so sorry to cause you this pain. I thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with the doctor who will operate on me today. I pray that you send angels to stand by my bedside and safely guide my doctor’s hands to mend this body you have given me. In your name I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord, Thank you that you bless the medical services with great skills and wisdom. Thank you that the operation went successfully, Lord please now bless each step of the recovery process. Protect the wounds from infection, heal and restore damaged or bruised areas and bring peace, rest and sound sleep. May your hand be upon him/her as he/she recuperates.

Lord of all the earth, You hold the universe in Your hands You place the stars in the sky And lay the deep foundations of each planet. You have created all things large and small with intricate beauty and life. You have all authority and power to diminish tumour growths, to destroy cancer cells, to restore and heal each amazing part of our human bodies. Father, we call upon You now to come and heal this cancerous growth, to holt this invasion of the body in the name of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord, our healer and redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Abba Father, I pray for mum, that she might be able to nestle into Your arms. You are her heavenly Dad, come and hold, protect and heal her of this sickness. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Dear God, I know that the first step in all spiritual healing is to believe. I believe! I open my mind and heart believing in your infinite power and possibility. I believe that healing is a dynamic and reachable experience, a reality that can be experienced right now. I maintain a patient and loving attitude, for I believe that your healing activity is now at work in my mind and body. I look forward, with joyful expectation, to the perfect wholeness that you are now bringing into manifestation through me. I believe in your constant expression of perfect good in and through me. I rest in the certainty of your healing power. I know that with you all things are possible. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Receive your healing in Jesus name. Amen!

Lord Jesus, thank you that you love [name of person who needs healing]. I know that you hate what their illness is doing to him/her. I ask that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness.
Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you the Eternal one you will give the order, heal and rescue us from certain death. In the Bible, I have read of miraculous healing and I believe that you still heal the same way today. I believe that there is no illness you cannot heal after all the bible tells of you raising people from the dead so I ask for your healing in this situation.
I also know from my experience of life on earth that not everyone is healed. If that happens here than keep my heart soft towards you, help me to understand your plan and help me to be excited about heaven.
God, I thank you that [name of person who needs healing] belongs to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last sigh. Amen.

By the light and truth of Jesus I lift my loved one to you. By the hope of the Redeemer, I pray for your healing power to break through. With just one touch from your Almighty creative hand, You have healed the sick and raised the dead. How amazing is your Lordship over all the earth, How powerful is your redeeming love. Tend with Your goodness the pain that they bear Heal now their sickness with miracle care. Carry them high far above till they see Your rainbow of promise, real hope lies ahead. I love them so dearly, so help me to be All that you, Jesus, would give out through me.

Dear God,
In this quiet moment,
I feel divine healing energy moving throughout my body and mind.
Your energy, your healing power flows within every atom, cell, and organ of my body temple. There is no condition greater than your power to heal, dear God, and there is no reason for me to doubt that healing is coming forth right now.
I trust you, dear God.
I feel stronger and healthier and filled with the peace of knowing that healing is taking place within me right now.
True healing is mine through your Spirit.
I surrender to you, God, in total faith and total peace.

Heavenly Lord, we stand today in Your grace and everlasting mercy. It is only by Your solid will that we’re here today to have this prayer and by Your grace, we come knocking with the rest of mind that you’ll answer us.
Oh Lord, we pray in the stead of the sick and dying, that You be with them for all eternity. Turn Your sight, not from their souls, and take their hands in Yours as a father would, his sons and daughters. God, in Your abode, nurture their souls for all eternity and be with all their goals in life.
We thank You for safeguarding them in this world and continuing to do so in the next. Thank You for listening to our prayer—Amen.

All our times are in Thy hand. All diseases come at Thy call and go at Thy bidding. Thou redeemest our life from destruction and crownest us with loving kindness and tender mercies. We bless Thee, that Thou hast heard our prayer, and commanded deliverances for our friend and Thy servant, who has been under Thine afflicting hand. He was brought low, but Thou hast helped him. May he not only live but declare the works of the Lord! As Thou hast delivered his eyes from tears, his feet from falling, and his soul from death, may he daily inquire: What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me, and resolve to offer unto Thee the sacrifices of thanksgiving and to call upon the name of the Lord. May we ever remember that recovery is only a reprieve and that someday we will go to our rest in the Lord. May we, therefore, secure the righteous path and live with eternity ever in our view.

I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the LORD. “And I will heal them.” ~ Isaiah 57:18-19. The Lord will bring healing to you. Amen.

Almighty God, you are the only source of health and healing. In you there is calm, and the only true peace in the universe. Grant to each one of us your children an awareness of your presence, and give us perfect confidence in you. In all pain and weariness and anxiety teach us to yield ourselves to your never-failing care, knowing that your love and power surround us, trusting in your wisdom and providence
to give us health and strength and peace when your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heavenly Father, It is so hard to watch _________ suffer. It doesn’t seem fair for her to have to endure so much pain. Even though I am powerless, I believe that you are powerful and capable of stepping into this situation and completely altering the outcome. In faith, I am responding to the promises in your word that you listen to our prayers and those prayers can make her well. So, I am bringing my friend before you to ask for your healing touch in her life. Thank you for the forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal healing, but I am asking you to provide healing for her on this side of heaven. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake and every moment of every hour, I live under Your power. Father, I ask You now to touch me with that same power. For if You created me from nothing, You can certain recreate me. Mend what is broken. Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through my body to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function.
Restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve You the rest of my life. Amen.
While doctors and medicine are a gift of God and He certainly uses them to bring healing – His power is infinitely greater than any human wisdom or prescription. If you or someone you know is suffering from a disease, illness, injury or emotional distress, remember that God is with you. The Holy Spirit is readily available to help us in every situation.

Father, today, we have a special prayer to submit to You. We pray for Your son/daughter today in regard to his/her sickness, and also because of our fear. Lord, we want You to perform a miracle like You did for.
This is our little one, and his/her presence in our lives is Your gift to us. So, God above, we pray that he/she becomes a living miracle of Your eternal promise to us. We also pray that You safeguard Your child and walk with him/her through every experience in life. Thank You for the grace to pray, the answered prayers, and the ever-present protection, Amen

Dear Lord, Guide my doctor’s hands and give him wisdom.
Show him the way and help him to heal me.
I put my faith in you and the medical professionals that you have brought to me.

Lord, please heal my broken heart. Fill me with the peace and joy, I know that can only come from You. During this hard time, walk closely beside me during my journey to healing and recovery that I know is possible through Your power alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, I come before you today in need of your healing hand. In you all things are possible. Hold my heart within yours, and renew my mind, body, and soul.
I am lost, but I come to you with grace. You gave us life, and you also give us the gift of infinite joy. Give me the strength to move forward on the path you’ve laid out for me.
Guide me towards better health, and give me the wisdom to identify those you’ve placed around me to help me get better. In your name, I pray, Amen.

Almighty and everlasting Lord, I come before You now in great need of Your mercy. You are the doctor and physician of my soul. I humbly ask You to send forth Your healing power into every area of my inner-woundedness. I surrender to You all areas of unforgiveness, especially those hurtful past events where anger and bitterness have been allowed to fester, causing harm to my physical health. By act of my free will, I choose to forgive everybody including the people who have hurt me the most. I release my desire to receive an apology, my need to be justified in my actions and my need for others to acknowledge the injustice. I surrender the entire debt of all my injuries into Your merciful hands. I denounce all forms of anger, bitterness and resentment, and command every evil spirit that has entered my body through the lack of forgiveness to leave now and go straight to the feet of my Lord, Jesus Christ. Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, I turn to You in this time of illness. Dearest Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. We place our worries in Your hands. We ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.

Father in Heaven, we pray to You today, with our heart heavy with concern for “Name”. He/she is sick and we want no reason for it to escalate. Hence we pray that You attack the sickness at its roots, and cleanse, with Your holy blood, all manner of remains in “his/her” body.

Almighty Father, Thank you for your love, grace and mercy. I pray that my discomforts will turn to comforts, my pains to gains, my deprivation to more blessings, my losses to profits, my tear to smiles, my sorrows to pleasures, my illness to wellness, my debts to credits and my dreams to realities.
As the scripture said “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” And he “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
I trust in you Lord and in you alone to heal me with any form of skepticism towards blessing that you will be employed upon me. I trust, Lord, that this agony and suffering that is only in my head, will come to end and positivism will shine upon me as I read, hear, study and preach the truth in the Bible.

Dear Lord, You are the Just judge, Holy and True. You are the Most High God. You give us life.
You hold all power in your hands.
You are the Mighty one from God who carries the world, and is ruler over all the earth.
You Oh Most Blessed One are the giver of life. In you are only good things.
In you is mercy and love. In you is healing of the nations.
In you is freedom of worry and freedom of pain.
Lord Almighty, You loved us so much. You were sent from your Father,
sent to save us from destruction. We truly can never make it to Heaven without the help of Jesus the Son,
who was sent to earth to help us.
You, Lord are full of mercy and grace, please forgive us for our faults.
Lord Jesus, in you all healing is performed. You Lord are the miracle worker.
In your Spirit, your gift of healing is alive. In you Lord we can put our trust that you can heal us,
and protect us from the enemy, and death of our soul.
You, Lord are miracle worker for the sick, and for the lost souls.
You, Lord forgive us and save us from condemnation. You cleanse us and make us born again new.
You give us a clean heart full of peace. You Lord are the Light.
In You is all truth. Your way Lord is the way to Heavenly Hope.
Your hands Lord created the universe. You Lord are the True giver of Life.
Every child is a miracle of Life. Life rests in Your Hands.
Wrap us as a close knit family, draw us near to you Lord, and bind us with your Loving Hands.
Let us be drawn closer to You. You are the Vine, dear Lord and we are the branches.
You carry all knowledge and all power. You Lord are our medicine. Your Words Lord are Truth and Life.
Help us put our trust in You. You Lord are the greatest physician.
You heal, You protect, You care, You love, You are kind, You are patient,
You are thoughtful, You are strength. You Lord are our Creator.
You know our thoughts, our sighings and our cryings and every hair on our head.
You are Wonderful and make all good things for us. Heal us Lord, if it be Your will.

Lord, Your scripture says that you heal all diseases and whoever believes in You will not perish but have everlasting life. Strengthen me, Lord, in this time of illness. Sustain him as he lays sick in his bed. When You were on Earth, you did all things good and healed all kinds of sickness.
You healed those who had diseases. You died and rose for our sins and that we may have eternal life, Lord. I believe in my heart that You are here with us today and that with Your most holy power will remove all sicknesses and evils that roam the earth. Let it be done in Your glory, Lord.
We praise and glorify Your name, Amen.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.” ~ Psalms 107:19-21. By his stripes you’re healed. Amen and Amen!

Think, o God, of our friend who is ill, whom we now commend to Your compassionate regard.
Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering. We beg for deliverance and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord if it be His will.
We, therefore, pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care, renew his strength, and heal what ails him in Your loving name.
