Dwight David Eisenhower was born on the 14th of October, 1890 in Denison, Texas, United States. He was an American politician and soldier who served as the 34th president of the United States from 1953 to 1961. Dwight David Eisenhower promoted Atoms for Peace at the United Nations General Assembly in order to ease Cold War tensions.
During World War II, he became a five-star general in the Army and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe. Dwight David Eisenhower received several military awards, promotions and decorations. He died 28th March, 1969 in Washington, D.C., United States.
