Emily Dickinson Poems
Emily Elizabeth Dickinson was born on December 10th, 1830 in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States. She was an American lyric poet who lived in seclusion and commanded a singular brilliance of style and integrity of vision.
Little known during her life, Emily Dickinson has since been regarded as one of the most important figures in American poetry. Her works were greatly influenced by William Blake, Robert Browning and Ralph Waldo Emerson. She died on the 15th of May, 1886.
